Network rationalization :
Network rationalization has become a necessity within the telecommunications industry, as carriers strive to maximize their existing networks. Dataxon has the capability to de-install and de-commission equipment (including the migration of all live traffic) at redundant or low capacity sites, re-installing and re-commissioning equipment at new sites where demand is greater. By optimizing equipment usage elsewhere in the network, operators can enjoy substantial cost savings as the need to buy expensive new routing equipment is eliminated. Additionally, by using Dataxon to perform this service, operators are able to improve network efficiency without incurring the cost of recruiting or re-training to acquire the necessary skill sets. In this way, carriers can concentrate their efforts on the technical delivery of core services to their customers.
Our expertise in this area assists carriers to maximize their existing infrastructure, balancing out network capacity cost effectively and ensuring a high quality service.
A flexible highly skilled group of engineers are available to troubleshoot problems that may arise on an operator’s network. The individuals in this team are trained to the highest level in specific vendor technology with over 100 years of network experience collectively. This provides customers an on demand resource for multi-vendor equipment with multi-carrier ‘know how’, vital in times of network disruption, outage, or unknown problem.
